The Best Dog Toy Box With A Lid

The Best Dog Toy Box With A Lid

It took me such a long time to find a dog toy box with lid that I actually liked.

I got my dog when he was 9 weeks old, and truth be told, I had no idea how many dog toys we would accumulate over time.

Owning a puppy took so much more time and effort than I ever anticipated, and I tried out so many different toys to keep my puppy happy and entertained.

In the beginning, I didn’t have room to put the toys away, so for a period of time I just put them in the sink in our laundry when I cleaned the house, but I knew that this could only be a temporary solution.

I tried out several different toy boxes. They would typically be without a lid, and I quickly learned that buying a dog toy box without a lid was a mistake. Every time I cleaned up after my puppy and put the toys away, he would just walk up to the dog toy box and grab them again.

Sometimes he wouldn’t bother straight away. So for a period of time, the house would be tidy. Then in the evening, while I’m relaxing on the couch after a busy day, my puppy would run-up to the dog toy box, grab a toy and go crazy. So, I decided it’s time to get a dog toy box with a lid.

My Favourite Dog Toy Boxes With A Lid

I’m the type of person who likes crafts, DIY, and I’m constantly redecorating my home, so I created this list of dog toy boxes with a lid that I liked. I’m excited to share them with you, and I hope that they can help you find the right one for you.

1. Big Bone Storage Bin

I like this one because it’s cute, spacious, it closes pretty tight and it’s easy to clean. Furthermore, it’s a great height if you do want to give your dog access, and the material isn’t easily destructible which is a good thing if your dog likes to chew.

At the time of writing this article, it was $29. Click here to check for the latest price.

2. Morezi Dog Toys Basket

If you prefer a more neutral dog toy box with a lid, rather than the bone-shaped one, you might like this one. I like the design because it makes a great fit in just about any room. It’s a good height too, and easy to both carry, open and close. That said, the material might be a problem if your dog likes to chew on objects, and there’s a good chance that your dog will figure out how to open it.

It was $18.99 at the time of writing this article, click here for the latest price.

4. Special Mention: Dog Toy Box with Lid

Ok, hold on. I know this box defeats the purpose of having a lid in order to stop your dog from just grabbing toys anytime he feels like it.

That said, I really wanted to show you this one, because it’s just so cute and such a good idea. The lid makes it easy to put toys in the box, while the bottom opening makes it easy for your dog to grab them.
